
Reasons why your dryer is not working anymore or problems occure
Your Bosch dryer gives you fresh and fluffy laundry that’s ready to go back in your wardrobe before you know it. But sometimes even the most reliable appliance has a problem. We have put together reasons for that and want to help you keep your appliance in good working order and assist you if it ever stops working.

Drum does not turn any more
Nothing happens when you switch on your dryer? The drum has stopped spinning round?
Especially when your dryer is fully loaded, the door may not be closed properly or the start button is not pressed. Make sure you close your dryer until you here a “Click” and try again to start a program.
If your dryer still no longer spins, there is probably a technical fault. We recommend that you get in touch with the Bosch customer service team for large appliances. They will quickly find the reason why your drum is no longer spinning and resolve the issue.
Dryer making noises
Does your dryer make strange noises whenever you switch it on? Is it loud, too loud for your ears or is it impossible to adjust the volume? Have you checked whether a foreign body is inside the appliance? Underloading your dryer can also cause noise problems, as this is uneconomical and it may result in a loud banging noise on the spin cycle due to an unbalanced load.
Often, a coin or other object has fallen out of the laundry during drying and is now rattling around inside the drum. Dryer no longer drying
After drying, the laundry always feels moister than it really is. Let the laundry cool down first – if this is not helping you can put the laundry back in the dryer and extend the drying time once again for a short time period.
In case your dryer has stopped drying properly, this can have various reasons:
Different laundry types
Different degrees of drying are achieved with different materials, cuffs, seams or multi-layer laundry. This is way it is recommended to sort your laundry by type and material and take a look at the care instructions of your garments. These will tell you the temperature at which you can dry them.
The laundry forms knots or migrates into one another.
Close the zippers and buttons on pillows and duvet covers to make sure you dryer can dry you laundry proper.
Dryers humidity sensor is dirty
The dryer is equipped with stainless steel humidity sensors. Moisture sensors measure the degree of moisture in the laundry. After a long period of operation, a fine layer of lime may form on the humidity sensors. Clean the humidity sensor with a damp cloth.
